Finally...an update!!

Okay...so I know it's been forever since I last updated but Aiden rarely gives me time to do anything! He finally got both his top and bottom teeth in so now he's ready to eat everything that mommy and daddy eat. He loves eating bananas and today he decided I needed to share my popcorn. :) He's crawling up a storm and is getting into EVERYTHING....his favorites would be cords and tags.

Aiden is such happy baby...the only time he really cries is when it's time for bed. He doesn't like going to bed! haha he would love to stay up allllllll night with daddy and play. We can't seem to keep him away from the doggies. He loves petting them (it's really more of a grabbing and pulling move than it is petting, but whatever). Kasie runs away from him since he found her tail (I don't blame her at all). His favorite doggie is Riley of course....it's only because that dog NEVER stops moving so it's entertaining for Aiden.

We finally got a date night yesterday (THANK YOU ronda and betty!). It was kinda weird not having to tote the little one in and out of the car all day. We do get some alone time since he finally decided that his wasn't as bad as he thought so at first. He sleeps all night in his crib with his butt stuck up in the air! Aiden has also started giving both of us kisses, but I think he got the idea from watching the dogs since his kisses consist of licking our faces....still cute tho!

Ryan got into SORM at HEB (that's the management program) so he's doing really well. I'm still on patrol but I'm on days now. Still love working nights but get to spend more time with Aiden and I wouldn't trade that for anything. Well I promise I will update again soon :). We love ya'll!

Time Flies....

So Aiden is already 7 weeks old...coming up on 8 weeks...and I start back to work on Monday. Kinda ready to get back to working but I am really going to miss being there for him all day. It's been forever since I updated this blog but been a little busy. I'm posting his first bath pics and some other newer ones that we've taken of him. He's gotten so much bigger. Well, longer really. He no longer fits into his newborn onesies anymore so we've moved up to three months. Ashley will be happy that he will soon be able to fit into his Italia tshirt! Maybe if he keeps growing longer instead of wider he'll be taller than both Ryan and me (fingers crossed!). We've been reading to him at night (he really is enjoying Harry Potter right now) and trying to get him to like tummy time. He doesn't cry but it can't be fun laying on your belly with nothing to look at. He'll figure it out soon enough. Enjoy the pictures!

Eviction Notice

To: Aiden,

To the above tenant in possession of below described premises:

I am issuing 5 day notice for EVICTION. You will have 5 days in which you can either gather your belongings and promptly vacate the premises, or wait until the final day. After which, you will be physically removed from the property.

You are being evicted due to breech of contract and destruction of property. Expansions only to the FRONT of the house, within reasonable limits, were discussed. Not only have these limits been exceeded, but additions to the back of the house were also made!

Remodeling and gutting of the home was never approved, nor was changing the initial layout and base structure. And due to property damage, there are now leaks in both the upper AND lower levels of the home. On top of which, the landlord has received numerous complaints about nightly disturbances.

After 5 days from this day that you don't comply with the notice will result in immediate and forceful removal at my discretion.

Nursery

Okay here are the nursery pics....I'm so proud I remembered to take them when I got home! Plus I included a 34 week belly shot.

Only 5 weeks left.....

So last Friday we went to our dr appt and she confirmed that he has dropped. I'm ready to see him but he needs to stay in there just a little bit longer! We're almost done with the nursery. All we have left to do is put up some shelves for his books and stuffed animals. Right now the animals are safe from Kasie in the crib but eventually we'll have to move them. :) I started packing my hospital bag but most of the stuff will have to wait until the day of, like makeup and clothes. Good thing we only live about 10 minutes from St. Joe's!

I've had at least 5 people at work tell me that there's no way I'll make it til May 7. It might just be mother's intuition but I have a feeling that he's going to be an April baby. Anyway, Ryan and I are going to sign our marriage papers on Friday to make everthing official for the birth certificate. Don't worry...we'll do a ceremony later! We're pretty much an old married couple anyway.

I'm starting to miss family and friends alot lately, but love spending every evening home with Ryan. Only a few more weeks and family will be down here to see us (and Aiden, I guess....:P) I will post new pics of the belly (ignore the stretch marks...they've started showing on the belly) and pics of Aiden's room this week.
